Currently trying to work on CHCECE016

one question ask when deciding on what level of supervision is required, what are the factors should you take into consideration?

So far i have: I am needing 5

the safety of all children
staff to child ratio

Dear mummyof4,

Determining the level of supervision required will depend on the type of risks involved in the activity. Some things to consider would be the age of the children involved; the level of experience and/or qualifications of the educators supervising; the number of educators to children (ratios); whether the area and/or equipment was safe for the children to use and whether an educator had completed a safety check of the area or equipment before the children entered the area or used the equipment; whether the children had participated in a similar activity before. You didn't specify in your question what type of activity you would be supervising, so these are just some general ideas. Hope this helps.

Thank you this does help a lot :) the question doesnt state what type of activity so i guess its more of a broad range answer which makes it a bit of a struggle!
