CHCECE009 - Documenting Points Of Evidence

Post by Michele.b » Fri Mar 13, 2015 6:57 pm

CHCECE009 Use an approved learning framework to guide practice

Hi, I have just started studying my diploma and aren't in a placement yet. My assignment requires me to have someone look at my answers to the following questions.
If its ok, would someone mind having a look at my answers please.
Do you see things differently?
How would you usually document a point of evidence?

Case Study: Lilly and Sue(both aged 4 years)are working at the collage table. They are chatting as they select materials to cut and paste. Hilda(also 4 years)has been standing at the table watching and listening for five minutes.

This case study describes points of evidence that an educator may notice.

Show how your pedagogy applies in each situation

What are the points of evidence ?
Lily and Sue( both aged 4) are working at the collage table. They are chatting as they select materials to cut and paste. Hilda(also aged 4 years) has been standing at the table watching and listening for five minutes.

Which of the five EYLF principles apply?
High expectations and equity

Which of the eight EYLF practices apply?
Learning through play
Learning environments

Which EYLF learning outcomes apply?
Children are confident and involved learners

What subcategory applies?
Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity

Thank you

Describe in at least two sentences (and provide an example) of how each of the
EYLF principles is applied in your service
1. Secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships
2. Partnerships
3. High expectations and equity
4. Respect for diversity
5. Ongoing learning and reflective practice
