Hello I am currently doing my diploma and one of the questions in my CHCCN511A assesment is:

When checking the playground area you notice there is a panel missing from the forte – please detail your response:

This is what I have so far but I would really apreciate some help:

• I would block off this area using fencing (isolation)
• Create a sign warning other staff members and place it on the fence/forte
• Document breakage/damage correctly (write up a damage report)
• Let the Director know immediately (verbally)
• Let staff know verbally, also post a notice in staff room
• Discuss safety of forte in next staff meeting
• Follow procedure/policies on broken equipment
• Have equipment assesed

I particularly need help with the question: Who will be involved in the strategy development to fix the problem and ensure it doesn’t happen again?
