Children’s Education and Care National Law 2010 – Section 166; states that it is an offence to use inappropriate discipline. What would happen if a staff member or volunteer repeatedly used time out to manage a child’s behaviour.

my answer is

The Children’s Education and Care National Law 2010 – Section 166
(3) A staff member of, or a volunteer at, an education and care service must not subject any child being educated and cared for by the service to--
(a) any form of corporal punishment; or
(b) any discipline that is unreasonable in the circumstances.
if a staff member or volunteer repeatedly used time out to manage a child’s behaviour they can face a Penalty of $10 000.

is this ok or am i missing info here??
