What is your rate? Interested in those working for large chains

Post by Barbie » Fri Dec 18, 2015 10:05 pm

Please dont refer me to the link to the award i am aware of that.

I am currently working for a private centre who is a constant law breaker therefore looking to get out. Problem is i have a huge mortgage on my own and this crook pays well above the award $4 an hour in fact as hush money. Considering no providors put the rate in their ads i would like to know an hourly pay rate please for those that work at Goodstart, Only About Children, Guardian etc.

I am interested to know how hourly rate/how many years experience/permanant or casual

Many Thanks

Listen it sounds like you know this centre is in the wrong, so I think you should get out why you still can... Fair enough they may pay above award but it's a big risk to you. What happens if something happens at this centre... What about your ethics, your duty of care to the children and families, I mean if this centre is no good then file a report before something bad happens!

While I was working at a chain centre, as a group leader, Diploma, over 4 years experience, I was getting paid 24.50/per hour for my first year of employment with them....
