Please Help! Award Level and Pay after 10 years Experience

Post by Little_smiles » Mon Aug 12, 2024 5:51 pm

Good Evening,

I hope someone can assist me with my query.

To provide some background about my professional journey:
I began my career as a trainee in 2013, successfully completing my Certificate III. Subsequently, I obtained my diploma in 2016. I have accumulated nine years of experience as a Nominated Supervisor, coupled with over seven years of experience as an Educational Leader.
Recently, I decided to take a break from my role as a Nominated Supervisor and have transitioned into the position of Assistant Centre Manager at a 100-placement centre. Leveraging my diploma, I have enrolled in an accelerated course to complete a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (0-5).

My employer has graciously completed an ECT waiver for me, allowing me to continue my studies while fulfilling my responsibilities as an Assistant Manager.

I have several questions regarding my award level and pay rate:
- What should my award level and pay rate be as an Assistant Centre Manager, considering my extensive experience?

- Does the implementation of the ECT waiver affect my award level and pay rate?

- Will my pay rate change given that I am essentially handling two roles?

- Upon completion of my ECT, what will my level and pay rate be, taking into account my prior experience as a Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader?

I apologize for the lengthy explanation, but I hope someone can provide the needed clarity.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
