Hi!

As a diploma assistant, your minimum wage is a Level 5, which is currently $33.24/hr. However, with your experience and your years of service, you should be able to negotiate your wages.

As a diploma assistant, the base rate of pay is $33.24/ so at the moment you are getting above award. However, with your experience I would say you can use this as a point of negotiation.

Hi!

The gender evaluation pay is for all educators on the Children's Services Award. So far there have been 2 gender evaluation increases on the Children's Services Award. One increase in March and another increase in 30th June. Both the increases have been automatically applied to the award rate.

If you are a Level 6 on the minimum wage, your pay rate will be $38.25/per hour. If you are getting $35.75/ you may still be on the old award rate. You should confirm your pay rate with your management before you go to Fair Work.

Hope this helps!
