hi, i was wanting to ask when closing a oshc centre of a night, what staff qualifications are required. I do know that it should be someone who holds a diploma or higher.
But i was told just recently that a person employed over 10+ years with only a cert 3 and works within a primary school as a teacher aid with no other qualifications can be responisble to close of a night, i have tried looking up the regs but cant find anything.
I dont think its right on how and regardless of length of time working that a cert 3 is equivelant to a diploma
thanks

Hi,
If you can't find it in the regulations, then you can ask your employer and they should be able clarify for you.
Alternatively, you can email or call your state/ territory regulatory authority directly (link below) and they will be able to confirm the regulations.
This is a lot easier than going through the national law and regs yourself.
