Are any other educators feeling burnt out
My centre is going through a staff shortage. I've been at the centre for 6 months now they pay above award wages , time and a half for any overtime and it was good at first but lately it is really awful. Half a hour lunch breaks because they don't have enough lunch cover, no has had programing time for two months and everyone has had to stay back even though they have started early, no one gets out on time. It's been really hard especially since I have a family and kids to think of. I'm really struggling and I spoke to my director and she says there is nothing she can do because we just don't have the staff.

Are other child care centres struggling to get staff or is my boss just making excuses.
