Super Funds

Post by flossybeth5 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 5:12 pm

We've lived in Australia since 2012 and I haven't worked in that time - I'm on the very verge of starting a FDC (only taken almost 18 moths...) but I now need to decide on a Super fund and have no idea about where to start. I wondered if there are any specific childcare funds or is a generic one OK?

Many thanks.

The centres I have worked always either had HESTA or Child Care Super. HESTA is specific for community workers and Chil Care Super is specific for childcare. Maybe you compare both and see which one is better...

Thank you; I've had a quick look at both and made an appointment with our financial guy (our yearly review was due anyway) so I'll ask him about them.

Thanks again.
