RPL Cert III while studying Bachelors degree

Has anyone managed to RPL their Cert III while they have be studying for a Bachelors degree?
I have a person in my centre who is in her final year of Bach of EC however as she has no CS qual she is essentially unqualified and if she can RPL her Cert III it would mean a bit more money for her.

My brothers girlfriend was able to RPL her entire Certificate 3 although she wasn't studying the Bachelor degree at the time. I don't see why it would be a problem. I mean if you are willing to sign off on her recognition of prior learning and she should already have the knowledge and skills since she is almost finished her degree then it can be a good option.
