Can you work as a director when still studying diploma?

Ideally you would have your Diploma and be studying towards your Adv Diploma or higher.
If you look at most Director position job ads they will want someone with an Adv Diploma

From what I have googled a Director must have an Adv Diploma or higher...but you can be a Director whilst studying for your Adv Diploma

If you are asking because you want a Directors position I think you would find it extremely difficult to get hired for this role while studying for your DIploma. You are best off completing your Diploma then trying. Even then it is hard as a lot of places want people who have completed their Adv Diploma or are at least studying towards something higher and have 2IC or previous Directors experience
