Re: Assessment for provider approval and HELP!
Hi all,
Can someone plz share how tricky the questions are? In what depth the answer needed to explain...is it a lengthy test?
Resources that help to prepare for test.
Thanks.

Hi
I just sat the test yesterday and found it ok. The questions were not as tricky as I thought.
Assessment was via zoom.

Re: Assessment for provider approval and HELP!
Were they scenario based questions?
Were they based on the nqs ?
Were they based on operational requirements?
Can you give an idea on what types of questions you answered?

Hi Deb, Are you able to share what were you asked in the test?debchopra wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 1:16 amHi, my test is on 18th March for provider approval, it is online... has anyone given online test so far? How it is? What are the most important topics? How are the scenario questions and multiple choice questions. Is online test is on zoom? Do you turn on your camera? I am really very nervous.

Re: Assessment for provider approval and HELP!
Your first step is to apply for provider approval,
https://www.acecqa.gov.au/resources/applications
On the same website there is a link to The National Law and to the regulations which are the two legal documents you need to learn. The guide to the National quality framework is also very useful
Hope that helps
Re: Assessment for provider approval and HELP!
Hi Lorina, I think one reason people don’t share after sitting the test is that they are told that the questions etc are confidential and don’t want to risk their approval, makes it hard for people trying to prep

Hi!
I have been trying to gather a list of questions with no success! From the posts in this topic, I gather it would be mostly on regulations and the national law and scenario based questions...
Im still trying to find out and if I will let you know if I come up with further information.

The questions are random and change for every assessment so it would be impossible to put a list together. It could literally be anything on operational requirements and compliance. There are 20 multiple choice questions and 2 scenario questions. You basically need to know as an Approved Provider, what your responsibilities are in any given scenario. If you are not 100% sure what you should do you can reference National Regs and National Law books but you kind of need to know whereabouts you need to look in the books as you only have limited time to answer all questions. Hope this helps!
Re: Assessment for provider approval and HELP!
I received my provider approval in Victoria and already applied for Service approval.
Does anyone aware if we can apply fo CCS approval before getting service approval?
as it will save a lot of time.
I am asking this question as I read few posts which confirms that CCS approval
may take few months to few years.
I am not sure if it is allowed or not but if anyone is in process to submit Service approval or CCS approval
they can contact me and we can discuss the process further to work as a team.

Hi!
Unfortunately you need to provide details of your service/provider approval on your application form for CCS. So, you will need to get these approved before applying for CCS.
Please see attached file for more information.
