Annual leave/sick leave

Hi, I have no sick leave left but plenty of annual leave accrued. Can my employer use some of my annual leave to pay me for the sick days I had..?

According to the Children's Services Award, no this isn't possible... if you have used up your sick leave then you have to be on leave without pay...

Also with your annual leave accrued you are entitled to 17.5% holiday loading which you don't get with your sick leave and you're only entitled to 10 days per year (from memory) of sick leave...
