Tips on how to lay out assessment questions.

Post by Berecca31 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 9:54 pm

Hi everyone, so excited to find this forum! I am studying a Cert III/Diploma in Child Services. I am currently trying to tackle my first assessment the care cluster case study. I am just after some tips on how lay out answers. for example when they ask to identify two strategies for assisting in settling to name one, how would you lay that out as well as adding in communication etc. This is the first assessment I've done in years and the mummy brain is blocking any clear thinking lol.

Welcome to Aussie Childcare Network!

Don't over think the questions so much. Usually they are as simple as you read them and the answers are pretty straight forward. When laying out answers you can do so in point form with each response being a paragraph long. Sometimes you may need more or even less. Even with straight forward responses try to at least write a couple of sentences. AS long as you can get your understanding across that's all that matters.

Hope this helps,

:geek:,

Hi Berecca31,

When I did some units through tafe they had a specific way to set out our assignments but that made clear to us in the unit paperwork given. When I had to do a couple of gap tasks to finish my RPL there was no specific way as long as it was legible.
