The Environment In Your Childcare Service

Post by liv.dee » Sat Sep 24, 2016 11:12 am

Hi, just wondering if anyone can please help me with the following questions

2. Grouping of areas- e.g are quiet areas away from the more active areas?

3. Art/craft/ messy experience- is there access to hand washing and clean up?

4. Ease of supervision- are there any areas that are difficult to supervise and/or maintain direct contact with the children? how do you communicate with other staff about supervision?

5. Family grouping - is there consideration for supervision depending on number and ages on children?

6. Dangerous chemicals= are they labelled and stored according to the centres and procedures?

Thank you

It sounds like for this question you need to check a centre for the above areas within the childcare environment...Do you have access to a centre to check these points?
