Scenario: Disagreement With A Co-Worker

Post by muffin » Mon Aug 03, 2015 11:22 am

Q : You have a disagreement with a co-worker where you work. The problem has been left unresolved, and is now impacting your interactions and daily communication with each other leading to further misunderstandings and frustration. What would you do and why?

My answer : Talking freely and open mind will help to resolve so many problems. first i will ask my co-worker to sit with me for a few minutes to talk in a very free mind and open mind about the problem. if there are mistakes on my side i will defiantly ask apologise and get that problem solved straight away. if co-worker made any thing wrong i will try my best explain in a good manner. Because in a work place, team work is very important. therefor having misunderstanding every day with out solve this issue, will make me more frustration and also will affect my work. To stop that,i will get my co-work to understand the situation which we had for a disagreement and try to make a similar decision in the last.

I have been in this situation myself in a workplace and sadly neither of us talked about the problem and I don't even know if there was a problem to be honest it was just a case of me not liking the general I am better than you attitude from this other person but then I thought about the others that I worked with and thought it not fair to them.I suppose talking about it the situaton if you are both agreeable to that would be good as it would not be a good thing to have to either leave your job or worse because things could not be sorted out between the two of you.As someone once said to be and I don't know if this is applicable to you "be the bigger person" in this situation and make the first move.Don't know if this helps but I hope so.
