Scenario: Amy - Strategies For Toilet Training

what strategies would you implement with Amy in regards to toileting while she is in your care?

My Ans---
Introduce the toilet/potty -
Talk to child about the toilet/potty. For some toddlers they are scared of it. Tell child that you use the toilet to do wees and poos. Show child how you use the toilet
I'm a big kid now -
keep reminding kids that they are big kids now and big kids always use toilets for the "wee" and "poo" purpose.
Consistency is Key You must be consistent.
It may take a few weeks or even only a few days for child to start going to the toilet. Any inconsistency during this stage will definitely be a set back.
Encouragement and Praise -
Encourage child when they sit on the toilet. When toddler begins to go in the toilet praise them. Give lots of cuddles, high fives, tell everyone about it
----------------------------
please suggest is this an OK response or what else should I add.thanks
