Reporting and documenting of suspected abuse can be made by all. It's important that if you suspect such incidents that it is recorded immediately and you bring it to the attention of your supervisor weather it be group leader or director. You will need to fill out a suspected abuse form and your director will sign off on this and take the matter further such as department will be notified ect. It is important that you continue to monitor the child who you believe is at risk to ensure you are aware of any new injuries or emotional trauma.
