Q: how can you ensure you protect a persons privacy when discussing delicate issues ?
Ans : confidentiality and privacy are important but should not over side the safety of children or young people. Sharing information between care and protection services and other agencies is essential to protect children and young people from experiencing abuse or neglect . If a child has disclosed abused or neglect to u , you should not discuss the situation with others not directly involved with helping the children child .

For example: if you are talking to a parent about their child being bitten by another child you should never mention any names or blame the other child. Even if the parent insists on knowing who bit their child you have to protect the child's privacy by not mentioning any names. Same goes for any other incidences that may occur...
