Play and development

Post by OldChook » Tue Dec 20, 2016 7:13 pm

Hello!

I am having trouble understanding and finding the information needed for question 7

7. The incorporation of activities that stimulate a child's creativity is an essential part of a centre's program.

a) Which part of the national standards support this?

b) What learning outcome of the relevant learning frameworks supports this?

I think the relevant learning framework is EYLF?
But I am not understanding the question properly and or what is required here.

Guidance/help needed please!

Hi Old Chook,

Did you manage to answer question a)?
I am also stuck.
I answered
a) Quality Area 1 - Standard 1.2 - Educators and co-ordinators are focused, active and reflective in designing and delivering the program for each child.
Quality Area 3 - Standard 3.2 - The environment is inclusive, promotes competence, independent exploration and learning through play.

b) Early Years Learning Framework, Learning Outcome 4 : Children are confident and involved learners.

Hi Shal

Yes I did answer the questions, And I have similar answers But I believe I added more standards in question a)
My assignment has been handed in so I will find out if I needed to add anymore or not, Or if I added to much, but I think better to be safe than sorry.
