Access the Education and Care Services National Regulations, Regulation 79 (1). In your own words, describe how an approved provider can meet the regulations regarding providing food and beverages.
Not sure if this is right and if not please point me in the right direction thanks but the answer I wrote was this
You can start by washing your hands before starting the food preparation. Always use colour coded boards to prevent cross contamination and always ensure food is served with tongs and that you are wearing gloves. For anything that has dropped on the floor (it’s a 10 second rule) no seriously what’s dropped bin it. Any utensils that have dropped on the floor need to be washed again. Try and show the children the need for food hygiene in both planned and spontaneous experiences. We should be educating the educators to be role models by maintaining good personal nutrition and always eating with the children at meal times. All food should have the FIFO rule (first in first out) as this allows the rotation of food. Always each and every day there will be water available for the children
