Identify and respond to young people at risk

Post by Deane » Fri Feb 12, 2016 12:08 am

Q1:
Outline how you would asses and respond to the needs of babies and toddlers within the following routines. Within your answer include the cues a child would show you in such situations, as well as verbal and non verbal communication you would use in order to meet their needs within each circumstance;
Tiredness and rest:
Hunger:
Nappy changing:
Pain and distress
Separation anxiety

Q2:
List 3 topics you could cover with children to promote their awareness when discussing eg their physical and oral health?

So for each point mentioned above how would you respond to a baby or child that is tired, hungry, needs to be changed etc. What would you say? What would you do?
