Hi there
I am from Canada and doing a RPL for a cert 111 and a little lost on the questions they are asking...
I have given the first question in hopes that if I am on the right trail I will able to finger the other 14 questions...
I looked up Work Cover Authority of NSW and went to the Work Health and Safety Act 2011
Am I looking in the right place and am I missing anything else...

still very stumped.... I have read the legislation and wrote down the code numbers that I think relate to childcare as the question asks but don't really see anything relating to Chemicals, bodily fluids, manual handling .... I have rewritten the question and the answers I have come up... can you see if I am on the right track.. seem to be going around in circles..

1. Ensure all staff are aware and are giving an opportunity to read WHS legislation
2. That representative are nominated, a process is designed to pass forward concerns from the employees to the representatives to be taken to the employee or committee. Reports should also be made available to employees on the outcome of meeting.
3. That policies and procedures are in place regarding health and safety and ensure staff are trained in infection control and hygiene practices.
4. Checklists are required for daily yard checks, equipment is regularly inspected and in good condition. Repair or disposal of equipment of damaged equipment and proper supervisors are told and written in daily log book.
5. Risk assessments are filled out and completed
6. Clear policies and procedures on how and when to fill out incident reports
7. Support is made available for staff to take concerns to management
8. That all volunteers and staff are aware of emergency evacuations
9. Ensure the staff have read and understand the labels on chemical containers and know how to use properly. Conduct risk assessments for hazardous chemicals.
