Flooding

Post by Amanmann » Mon May 23, 2016 10:43 pm

During the day a burst water pipe floods the outdoor play space. Children and staff are unable to access this area and parents will have limited access to the Education and Care service to collect children in the afternoon.

List three (3) things you may need to document. Where would you document this and who would it be for?
1. I would document incident/ accident report to make a report of incident that happened outdoor area that when it happened and what is to be done to prevent future incidents like this .
2. I would assess the risk before closing the area, that how dangerous it is and how long it will be fixed.
3. I would document broken pipe into maintainence list and I will ask director/ nominated supervisor to know if its council pipe or private if its council, they will come to fix it or if its private we will contact to plumber to fix this pipe.

I ensure that I am following policies and procedures for guide actions all of the above. This documentation is for PCBU or Health and Safety Representative(HSR). After when pipe is fixed I will review that area that it is now safe or not.

can anyone help me with this.. what else i can add.. please help
