Collaboration With Children

hey, I'm trying to get this assessment out of the way but I'm stuck on "why do we collaborate with children? Give examples of collaboration with a baby, toddler and a small group of four year olds"... I have already done the collaboration with families so I think I'm getting a little confused between that and this question.. Thanking you
