Re: CHCORG303C - Concerns About Policy, Duties, Conflict & Sustainability
A concern about a policy or practice of the service: Staff not correctly supervising children; incorrect handling of medication and/or incorrect/insufficient medication handling policies.
These should be easy to expand on, bring the lack of supervision to the other staff members attention, perhaps they are distracted and need to take time to gather their head. If they don't show improvement, and/or the lack of supervision quality poses a risk for the children the supervisor should be notified (this can be repeated for each point as this is the main point, safety of the children and a no conflict workplace.)
A concern about your job responsibilities: Not sufficiently trained for tasks; Not sufficiently instructed or informed for tasks required.
A concern about conflict in the workplace: Personal conflict with a child's family or a child; personal conflict with a co-worker; bringing personal conflicts into the work-place.
A concern about sustainability: A co-worker using non-sustainable products in art and craft projects; lots of wastage regarding room activities; lots of non-recyclable and non-reusable products in children's lunchboxes.
An improvement for the lunchboxes could entail talks among the staff and letters sent home to parents, and discussions with the parents about using re-usable and recyclable lunch containers.
I hope that spurns some ideas and helps you along. I'm still stuck on Assessment 2, Form 25 -_-

Re: CHCORG303C - Concerns About Policy, Duties, Conflict & Sustainability
Yes, you're on the right track with your responses. Some points to add:
-Concern about job responsibilities: Go through your job description. Talk to your supervisor to clarify what you need to do. Ask to go to professional development courses to extend your knowledge so you can be trained to complete necessary tasks. Ask supervisor to train you.
- Concern about conflict: Follow Grievance Procedure
- Concern about sustainability: Go though centre's policies. Staff meeting ask to review policy. Gather ideas on how this can be changed.
Hope this helps,
,
