Select an area of your work that you wish to review. You may do this alone or in consultation with your supervisor or a co-worker. Develop a short-term SMART goal. Make it something you can do within the next 30 days.
Use any of the industry documents available to you – such as your job description, Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics, the National Quality Standard, Early Years Learning Framework or study – to help you formulate your goal.
Prepare a formal goal action plan as set out in Chapter 1, Element 2 of your textbook, and using this template:

I think the goal that is required has to reflect upon you'r practices. The idea you have is good but you just need to tweak it to fit into the question. So, instead your goal can be "embed sustainability in daily routines and practices" (EYLF L/O 2.4).

For Possible Issues you can also include something along the lines of researching to see what environmentally friendly cleaning products are available and if you can make your own at the centre itself so you can use. Also to discuss which of these eco-friendly cleaning products kill the most germs are which are suitable to use for all types of cleaning etc.

Thank you for you feedback, after debating for most of the day I decided to change my goal to 'Guiding children's behaviour'. Do you think that this is along the right track?

Yes, guiding children's behaviour is a goal you can use however you need to be more specific in what goal you want to achieve. Guiding children's behaviour is too general to use, so try and be specific. Have a look at the attachment above and see if you can find an outcome to support your behaviour goal which you can use....
