When communicating with children tone of voice and body language are particularly important. Give some examples that show how these aspects of communication can be used.
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I am looking for someone to help me out a bit as to what I am supposed to write down. Can someone give me just 1 example of so I can get an understanding of the question or re word the question for me?

Your body language communicates all the emotions you feel, just as a baby communicates whether u r happy or not. It is evident for everyone to see. When you are happy and excited we can all see this by your smile, happy feet, and outstretched arms.you hugging or holding children s hand, they can tell that u love them without having to say it.When you roll your eyes at them or turn your back and walk away, it says it in body language.

for a example you have a child that has written there name for the first time and are super proud of what they have just done.
Your tone would be that of a happy tone and actions could be giving the child a high-5 and congrats them.
Where as if you have a child that has just spilt 'water' on the floor for the 3rd time that day and your now over it, your still not likely to yell and shout at them, you would most likely had a slight firm tone....
Thats what it says to me anyways, hope its helped you even a lil...

If a child is upset, you might kneel down to their level and use a soothing voice to find out what is wrong. They would then be more likely to reveal to you what is wrong than if you stood over them with your hands on your hips using a stern voice. Your voice and body language can therefore affect the outcome of your communication with the child and their response.
