CHCEDS016 - Supporting Children With A Disability

Could somebody please help me with the following questions?

1. You identify a hazard/risk for the student with a disability you are working with. Who would you would verbally report this to? AND what types of non-verbal reports may be required? - Is the answer my teacher and a health and safety rep? I am unsure on the non-verbal report part.

2. Briefly describe the two responsibilities you have when assisting students with a disability gain and maintain a level of independence.

3. List 5 ways you are expected, as an Education Assistant, to enhance a student’s independence

4. List the four factors that make the difference between how individuals develop skills and competencies.

5. Describe the impact that people with low expectations may have on a student with a disability.

6. What are some strategies you can use to overcome low expectations
