Re: chcece003
Hi there!
Question one: try a Google search such as Children's books for healthy bodies.
A book that could be read is: The Healthy Body Book- caring for the coolest machine you'll ever own- written by Ellen Sabin.
Question two: yes, your suggestions are good. Does it need to be child or teacher lead though? Hide and seek is more of a teacher lead activity as it's got rules already in place and depending if Kick the ball has set rules it might also be a teacher lead activity. Try and think about ideas that Are outside of the box.
what about helping the children make up a game. They could make the rules up and what materials they could use. You can places a bunch of equipment out for inspiration (such as bikes, balls, climbing frame) in the backyard. (They don't have to use all materials) This is also good so they can see what resources they have to use and do some problem solving and thinking to make it work. This activity also helps with creativity, team work, problem solving amount other things.
I hope this helps!
