Behaviour mangement plan
i have to do a behaviour mangement plan for a 3 year old and this is what i have
1) identify the behaviour of concern?
pulling hair, hurting other children, not listening or following instructions
2) Identify why you feel the behaviour may be occurring?
Due to the fact that he is the oldest in the toddler room and all his friends have moved up to pre schooler room and he wants to be with them also not enough attention at home
3) short term goal?

4)strategies to achieve the short term goal?

5)long term goal?
?????????? not sure
6)strategies to achieve the long term goal?

7) what will happen if the child uses the inappropriate behaviour?

Ok, so this little boy is displaying inappropriate behavior such as pulling hair, hurting other kids etc….
For a short term goal I think you should try and get the child to stop hurting other children. This behavior has to stop immediately because other children have to feel safe coming to the centre each day. How would you get the child to stop hurting others?
For the long term goal you can support the child through encouraging him to make friends in the toddler room. How would you encourage the child to make new friends?
Also for the last question think about techniques you would use when he displays inappropriate behavior.. Such as re-directing to another activity, sitting by self reading a book, etc….
