Hi guys, I'm stuck on a question in my ATSI unit for Diploma. The question being - what are some possible contempary impacts of other cultures on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and the possible impacts of Aborigibal and Torres Strait Islander cultures on other cultures? Any help would be much appreciated as the Google seems to be taking my around in circles!
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Some impacts I have are the fact that ATSI people are now the minority in a country they were once the majority in, the impact western societies have had on Aboriginal burials and funerals, Aboriginal connection with the land etc but that's about it!
