Arrangements Within The Centre

Post by liv.dee » Sun Sep 11, 2016 11:25 am

Using the list below comment on the arrangement within a centre, including the positive, things you would change and does it meet the NQS, if so which quality area/s

1. Screening- how areas are screened to reduce noise or limit the space used by children?

2. Grouping of areas- e.g are quiet areas away from the more active areas?

3. Art/craft/ messy experience- is there access to hand washing and clean up?

4. Ease of supervision- are there any areas that are difficult to supervise and/or maintain direct contact with the children? how do you communicate with other staff about supervision?

5. Family grouping - is there consideration for supervision depending on number and ages on children?

6. Dangerous chemicals= are they labelled and stored according to the centres and procedures?
