Silkworms in Brisbane, Qld

Post by debbii1960 » Sat Sep 27, 2014 5:51 pm

Hi all,
2 years ago I was given 10, now I have hundreds.
Does anyone want some?
Before you say yes make sure you have a mulberry tree either personally or in your community (community networking!!!).
I work in Banyo, I live in the Caboolture area.

Hi Kirra,
I have hundreds.
Most of them are cocooning so I recommend I save some eggs for you for next year. If you really want some now where are you?

I'm in aspley. Going up the coast tomorrow so could pop in on my way back or meet you another time. I'd love to see them come out of their cocoons :D

Hi there Kirra

I've just registered on this site as I searched for silkworms in Brisbane and your notes above came up. Hoping you have some silkworms at the moment. We are in Scarborough, Redcliffe and my son's Grade 2 project ones have died. Would love to hear from you. My email is donna@bodhiandme.com, same as my user name. Fingers crossed. Ciao & chat soon. Donna

I have thousands of silkworms in all stages, if anyone wants any please contact Tugulawa Early Education either through our facebook page or phone us. We are located in Bulimba for collection. We do not support feeding our silkworms to your animals, they are for classroom use only.

Hi Amanda,
I would love to have some silkworms for my Prep classroom. Do you still have any? I had them for years but lost my last lot of eggs in a move a couple of years ago. My school is not far from you in Wynnum.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
