Free Webinar On Embedding Sustainability in Your Practice

This free webinar, held on 22 September, enables Educators to learn from expert practitioners who will share their skills, experience and knowledge on effective and sustainable work practises to meet.

Conducted by WaterUps from Down Under, experts will explain in simple steps how a sustainable, low maintenance garden can be easily installed and maintained. Supported with practical tips and by sharing a range of resources, this session will help overcome the challenges associated with installing and maintaining vegie gardens even during drought and increasing water restrictions.

You will also be shown how an easily managed worm farm and compost system can reduce your centre’s waste to landfill. As well as introduce an on-line learning tool which can further help with integrating sustainable practices and learning opportunities into your centre.

Topics and presenters include:

  • Worm Farming, Composting and Wicking Beds – Peter Rutherford, Senior Ecologist and Educator Eco House & Garden Kimbriki
