From 01 July, Educators and ECT's earning the minimum pay rate as stated in the Children's Services Award 2010 and the Educational Services Teachers Award 2010, will receive a 3% increase to their pay rate.
It's important for all Educators and ECT's to understand their current pay rate and to check to see if you're eligible for the 3% increase. Please check the wage table in the following articles:
Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) Award Wages in Australia
If you are earning the minimum pay rate as stated in the above wage table, you will receive the 3% increase however if you are earning more (above Award) then the increase doesn't apply.
Once the pay rates have been updated by the Fair Work Commission we will update the wage tables in the above articles and will let you know when they come into effect.
The increase applies from the first full pay period starting on or after 01 July 2019.
