From the 27th of May, 2022 to the 3rd of June, we celebrate Reconciliation Week, Connecting The Dots Through Culture has developed the Sea Of Hearts Challenge.
What To Do:
- Print out/download the Sea Of Hearts Template for Educators, Children, Families and the Communities (Aussie Childcare Network will be providing these for free tonight).
- Ask everyone to decorate the heart and fill in "What Does Reconciliation Mean To You" and return it back to the centre.
- Cut out the hearts and place them on sticks or hang them on strings to create a Sea Of Hearts including ALL hearts where they are visible.
- Take photos of your Sea Of Hearts and post them onto the Connecting The Dots Through Culture FB page, on your social media with hashtags #Reconciliation2022 #SeaofHearts #connectingthedotsthroughculture #BeBraveMakeChange
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians. We have to create a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the Australian community and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
