Can someone give me some ideas on how to answer this question. How does collected information about a child from parents relate to what is happening in your program?

Hi Abbey,
As part of your program it’s important to gather as much info about each individual child in your care through their parents/caregivers. This can be done by having informal chats with parents during afternoon pickup, listening to what the parents tell you about any special events that has happened at home or even getting parents to fill out questionnaires and surveys about what they want their child to achieve or work towards.
Once you have received any feedback from parents/caregiver it should go directly onto the program as family input. It could be a simple comment from a parent such as “Rachael loves watching Dora, she can count to 10 in Spanish”. On your program for an experience you could teach the children how to count to 10 in different languages, which has been included onto your program from family input.
