Hi Renabee,

I've just read your responses to the questions and it does seem like you are on the right track... I just thought I'll add a couple of more suggestions to some of the scenarios. Overall it's pretty good!
Scenario C :Ava 4 mothes is having her nappy changed . she is looking intensely at the carers.
verbal/nonverbal response : smiles and talk quitly about what she is doing , toutches and tickles
reason for response : to encourage and stimulate Ava physical , language, congtive development.

You can also include developing trust and attachment with carer.
Scenario E :Zennie 3.6yeras speaks only Cantonese .she been attending the center for 4 months ans stetled well.... Ze nnie takes you by the hand and leads you to her work. She points to her collage and looks up at you smilling
verbal/nonverbal response : smiles and nod and saying well done Zennie .
reason for response : support language . to engourge zennie links words with face expressions.

You could also get a camera and take a photo of the child with their work. Allow her to put it in her locker to take home, show her parents. Put in on the wall on display and give her more materials for another collage to do.. Builds trust and confidence, shows an understand and supporting of child's interest.
Scenario F :Britt 7 years arrives at the out of school hours program looking upset. she throws her bag down and slups onto her chair "I hate school "
verbal/nonverbal response : ?????
reason for response : ???.

You can add something like walk over, put your hand on her shoulder and let her know that if she needs to talk that you are there. This builds a relationship between carer and child, develops a sense of trust.

Hope This Helps!

Cheers :geek:,
