Introduce the terms "Ascending Order" and "Descending Order" when teaching your kids the Math skill of ordering numbers.

Activity

Ask your kid to draw the numbers and color them. Cut it out and stick it to the staircase. When kids climbs up, they can count it out loud. After a few days, they will start recognizing that going up the stairs is ascending i.e. the numbers keep increasing in value.
