Hi SwapTadep

I know this might be a bit late but I only joined this week.

Have you finished Certificate 3 in education support? I did it a couple of years ago and will be willing to help if you still going.

Cheers

Hi Swapna

I work as an SSO (Teacher's Aid), as well as a Childcare Educator in OSHC in South Australia. I am also a mum of two children and I am currently studying Diploma of Children's Services OSHC.

When I did my cert 3, I was able to do it as 'Work Place Assessment'. Which means after I had answered some questions and provided additional evidence, my lecturer came to my work place and observed me working with the children. This happened twice.

Are you working? If so you might be able to do it the way I did.

I hadn't studied for about 20+ years when I did cert 3 so it was a bit of a shock. But I can proudly say that I persevered and passed within 12 months of starting it.

While I can't say it was easy, I knew I needed that qualification to continue working in schools.

Do you know what subjects you could be doing? As depending how you do the study can depend on what subjects you do.

While I can't tell you what to do I will say that I am willing to help out if I can.

First get the subjects to me and I will let you know which ones I did.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers :)
