Post by Italian_princess » Fri Jun 08, 2018 8:21 pm

Hi guys,
I'm stuck on this question, could you please help me!

What should educators do with leftover medication or medication past its expire date?

Thankyou

Does the leftover/expired medication belong to the service or to the family?
I think if it belongs to a child, give it back to the family and tell them that it is past expiry date and they can dispose it off in a pharmacy. If it is the service's, then director can take it to the pharmacy or he/she can nominate one of the staff members to do this.
