Questions: Explain the difference between specific and generic competences (100-150 words)
My answer: Generic competencies are related to unspecialised skills such as communication, conflict management and problem-solving. Generic competencies can be said to underpin technical competencies and to aid in gaining new competencies.
Specific competencies are applicable to practical tasks or technical functions like operating machinery, using computer applications, processing tender applications and writing reports in other words it more technical.
I have not reached the word count and need a bit more information to add to it, I have googled to find the answer and no luck.
Question: Why is it necessary to consider, when designing a program, the physical resources that might be needed? (120-150 words)
My answer: I don't have a definitive answer for this but I think it may include: Budget and know what you need in order to carry out the program.
I am unsure of what else and have read through the module.
Question: What is meant by effective training will incorporate a range of activities and support materials appropriate to the achievement of identified competencies. (200 words).'
My answer: I do not an answer yet for this question, would appreciate some dot points to give me some direction.
