Hi,
I have an interview question not sure how to answer.
If you observed an angry educator grab a child's wrist and lift the child, what would you do?
I haven't see this Senario happen before. If it happen personally I may approach the the child and the staff to help, so the staff can calm herself down. I also asked some childcare workers, they say will report to manager if happen another time. But at the moment when I see it happen how to deal with it?
Thanks
Wendy

Re: Staff Inappropriate behaviour
Wendy, your response is on the right track!
You could go up to her, stop the educator and tell her about how you don't harm children and talk to her about the policies and procedures of the service. After the incident you should also go to report it to the director and the director can follow-up.
