CHCEDS002 Professional Language is student reviews

Post by spike05060 » Sun Jul 16, 2017 8:51 pm

Hi there
I'm stuck on how to respond to this question....any help would be great.

'Teachers and assistants will need to know and use professional language in student reviews and case conferences. Why is this important and from what sources might you gather information about the language you need to use'?

I can't seem to get my brain working on this one

TIA

Maybe something like:

Professional language is used because a case conference is a formal event and a student review is a formal part of documentation used. Also, using professional language when interpreting learning and to describe the learning that's taking place during different experiences in order for the audience to understand the teachers/assistants points of view.

Gathering information about language to use depends on the context and can be found in Curriculums, Standards etc.
