CHCECE003 - Purpose Of Monitoring and Reviewing Support Programs

Post by catnap » Tue Apr 11, 2017 11:50 am

Hi Lorina,
I am working in Provide Care for Children. I am familar with this module, but can't find something on the following....
What is the purpose of monitoring and regular reviewing of children's support programs? Have looked through my learning materials but cannot see anything to help me answer this. I was thinking something along the line of educators need to regularly review as regularly gathering information in regards to changes requires staff to observe and check the progress of the child....not sure? I need 75 words.
Thank again and Happy Easter to you and your family and may the Easter Bunny bring you some yummy treats!

Yes, you're on the right track... you regularly review and monitor programs to ensure they remain relevant and provide valuable experiences for the children. For example, children's needs, the setting, environment, conditions and resources may change, so these aspects need to be taken into account.
