CHCPRT001 - Reviewing The Sun Safety Policy

Post by Snook » Mon Jan 02, 2017 8:12 pm

Hi! Any ideas/help welcome :)

You have been asked to participate in the review of the policy relating to sun protection. In particular you are to reassess the 'No hat, no outdoor play' policy which requires the children to be restricted to the verandah if they do not bring their hat each day.

Question: What documents would you refer to in order to review this policy?

Thx
Brea

I would probably at Cancer Council Australia - Sun Safety for further information on what you may need to include in the policy and if anything needs updatng...

Thanks Lorina,

In my answer I put;

'The centres current Sun Smart policy, Cancer Council Sun Safety information & any relevant Legislation/Regulations.'

Am I on the right track? Or should my answer only be the Cancer Council?

Thx

You're on the right track with your response. In regards to Legislations/Regulations I would probably be more specific... If you can identify which part of the regulation that would probably help you answer and don't forget to include the NQS as well...
