Unites nation article 5

Post by Kaku1 » Sat Nov 19, 2016 9:57 pm

Hi Lorina
The United Nations convention on the rights of child , article 5 states that *Government should respect the rights and responsibilities of families to direct and guide their children so that as they grow they learn to use their rights properly*

Does this mean that parents can discipline their children however they see fit?

Thanks

It depends on how parents discipline their child because a parent cannot be physically abusive, aggressive, etc. to their child...
