Attachtment and Temperament

Post by susan1 » Tue Nov 15, 2016 1:35 pm

Assessment one: Question 6 – Describe attachment and temperament
Attachment: Attachment is to create an emotional bond with someone, the attachment theory is the theory of a child creating an emotional bond between the primary caregiver and the child. This theory speaks about the affection the child requires from their attached person. They seek emotional guides and support through their careers care. As a baby when we cry we seek comfort from the person we trust most seeking their affection. Reading this theory has opened my eyes to my role as an educator as I am not the attached carrier my aim is to build a certain relationship with that child to gain trust. If the child suffers from anxiety I can provide the family with strategies from morning drop offs (Transition book).

2- Temperament: Can anyone help me with this? or give me a link to any information please!
